Luna Blaise, an American actress, is well known for the popular TV show Fresh Off the Boat. Acting was her lifelong passion. Kathie Lee Gifford was the co-host for the fourth hour of TODAY alongside Hoda Kotb from 2008 until April 5th 2019. Entertainment Weekly dubbed the Gifford and Kotb show "appointment television" as USA Today called it TODAY's Happy Hour. The year 2014 was the year that Gifford wrote the highly praised TODAY the Musical, which featured the cast and hosts of the show. Each month she composed songs for the cult show Everyone Has a Story. She was elected to the Broadcast & Cable Hall of Fame for the year 2015. She made her debut as a director in the short film, THE GOD WHO SEEKS, with Nicole C. Mullen. They co-wrote the music for the movie. Gifford is a patron of numerous children's organizations including Childhelp as well as the Association to Benefit Children which spawned Cassidy's Place and Cody House named after her two daughters. As a humanitarian, she received an honorary degree by Marymount University in recognition of her work on labor relations.
